- Plan for future meetings: January in person; February, March and April virtual, May in person, June and July virtual, August social in person, September in person, October and November virtual, and December awards and social in person. Do we want to meet in person in March? Diwakar to find a location in Beaverton and some good food.The March 14th Meeting will also be the Chapter Chairs meeting, so the budget is $2,000.
- Plan for meeting agenda: We will have the formal business meeting first, following Robert’s Rules of Order, and the goal is for it to last 30 minutes or less.
- 2023 Goals: Please start thinking about your Chapter’s goals.
- Chair: All are focused on the two goals of IEEE: Get back to in-person meetings, and increase membership:
- Business meetings end by 7:15pm
- Resurrect Young Professionals

- Resurrect at least one Student Chapter
- Represent at Rising Stars, OpComm and Sections Congress Conferences
- Set up a functional digital storage space (Diwakar?)
- Follow up – should section send out emails for membership renewal (AR Dan, Diwakar)
- Confirm with Rick Smith as Professional activities chair (AR Diwakar)
- Chapters: Examples include X number of meetings, Y number of in-person meetings, finding a Treasurer, ?
- Does the Section own anything physical, like promotional items or a speaker for meetings?
