Treasurer
1. Solid State Circuits:  $500 for a Spring event was requested. Confirmed for HOP and transfer in Progress.
2. USB Milestone dedication:  The event is the afternoon of July 30th in Hillsboro.  Let’s get details from Richard Dorrance. Info has been sent to Intel on how to reimburse the Section for the milestone.  I’ve also requested status of the milestone plaque. - plaque on the way. Brian Burke and Richard are working the details. One wrinkle, IEEE Convene happens at the same time so likely some dignitaries will not be in attendance. USB inventors will be there.
3. PSU Gadgetfest:  Sent an email getting details for this event that we pledged $500.  Hoping to just transfer the funds to their next gen HOP and have reached out to PSU but have not heard back.
4. Remind Amritesh to continue to pursue getting the $800 from the YP Society for the Top Golf event.
5. The Section received a $9k rebate to be passed on to high performing chapters.  The Treasurer of any high performing chapter needs to inform the Section Treasurer of the amount they are entitled.  Otherwise, they can request up to $250 for their chapter.  The Comm Society gave us $1,500 separately for being a high performing chapter, so those funds will be available to them as needed.
6. Did we pick a date for the Summer Social? Yes, Portland Pickles baseball 26 July at 7:05pm. Location: Walker stadium in Lents park.
