EPS:  Trying to get it going.  Lost several officers

Photonics society is approved!

YP event in June in person, they are also targeting graduate students

EDS:  We have an EDS MTT  Jim Morris,  Triquint and Intel.  *Find the leadership and connect them with Amritesh.

SSC:  Attempted in person at PSU, only 3 showed up.  June 15, distinguished lecturer from Belgium.

Computer society:  March had meeting, April speaker had a medical issue and could not present.  May meeting.

• Plan for future meetings: January in person; February, March and April virtual, May in person, June and July virtual, August social in person, September in person, October and November virtual, and December awards and social in person.  Do we want to meet in person in March? Diwakar to find a location in Beaverton and some good food.The March 14^th Meeting will also be the Chapter Chairs meeting, so the budget is $2,000.
• Plan for meeting agenda: We will have the formal business meeting first, following Robert’s Rules of Order, and the goal is for it to last 30 minutes or less.
• 2023 Goals: Please start thinking about your Chapter’s goals.
  1. Chair: All are focused on the two goals of IEEE:  Get back to in-person meetings, and increase membership: 
     1. Business meetings end by 7:15pm
     2. Resurrect Young Professionals

• Resurrect at least one Student Chapter

1. Represent at Rising Stars, OpComm and Sections Congress Conferences

December 10th:  We celebrated our achievements from 2022 at the Lucky Labrador restaurant.

Several Chapters had 5 or more meetings in 2022.

Congratulations to Ed Epp of the RAS Chapter with 17 meetings in 2022!

The existing and new Section leaders were recognized.  Thanks go to John Prohodsky, Daniel Goodrich and Lee Oien for their service the past two years.

Congratulations to our new officers:  Daniel Goodrich (Chair); Ed Perkins (Vice-Chair); David Silver (Treasurer), and Diwakar Agrawal (Secretary).
